Preparing your pet in advance makes travel much smoother. Start by letting your dog or cat explore the carrier at home. Place treats and toys inside so they develop positive associations. Begin with short practice trips around the neighborhood to help them adjust to movement and sounds.
Make sure your pet is familiar with their travel accessories before the actual trip. Introducing new gear too late can lead to stress. With gentle training and patience, your pet will learn to travel confidently and calmly.
